Cameron's farm stand in Sonoma County

Why we started

Natural goods that improve life

I decided to start this business to put a positive message into the world and sell natural goods that improve life. I’ve worked in organic vegetable production for many years and my business partner Cameron Lilly is currently operating a start-up vegetable farm in Northern California. We are starting a farm together in Spring 2027, so we decided to start the farm ahead of time with my passion project, coffee.

I drink coffee every day. I’ve studied it in college as well as frequented coffee farms when I lived in Hawaii. I’ve always been drawn to the idea of selling coffee, so when I met friends in coffee roasting I moved forward with Be The Good Farms.

Hey everyone, this is Emmett Billings from Glen Ellyn, Illinois. I've spent the past ten years growing plants in botanical gardens, farms, gardens and greenhouses. I've always been drawn to the abundance and organic cycles of life found on farms.

I believe farming and providing natural goods is one of the best ways to have a positive impact on the world. Growing food with my friends is fun and directly helps people stay healthy and elevate life. I teach horticulture and plant propagation classes at a few colleges in Chicago that allow me to teach others how to cultivate abundance from the land.

I love coffee, sports, hiking and sunny days. I'm looking forward to building a positive community centered on agriculture and health.

Co-founder · Sonoma County, California

My name is Cameron Lilly. I have run an organic vegetable and flower farm operation in Sonoma County, California from 2021 to 2026!

I graduated from Cal Poly SLO with a bachelor's in Civil Engineering but felt compelled to farm for personal enjoyment, the joy of growing food for people, and to address systemic issues that have been prevalent in the agriculture industry for years.

I am excited to bring Floral Design, Plant Propagation, Vegetable production and sales experience to the team to provide healthy, delicious and ethically produced food and flowers for our community.
